New research has revealed that 1.1m more people are living vegan than this time last year in the UK, with the total number of vegans in Britain at more than 2.5m.
Meat consumption dropped to record lows in 2023 and as the climate begins to change more rapidly, the connection between the meat and dairy industry and the environment is becoming more apparent to consumers.
The study by finder.com also indicates that a further 2m people intend to make the shift towards veganism this year.
