The Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation has released a landmark report today on meat reduction and how it would save the NHS £2.2bn annually, as well as the benefits to individual health, HM Treasury and achieving climate goals.
Key recommendations include implementing plant-based defaults in public catering and educating the public around the benefits of modest reductions in meat consumption.
