
This evening, we attended a Parliamentary round-table to discuss how Denmark has shifted much of its food system to plant-based and organic, and what lessons can be learned for procurement in the UK.
Speakers included the coordinator of the Danish National Public Food Procurement Network, the chief consultant from the Danish Agricultural & Food Council and an economist from WPI Economics.
It was hosted in the House of Commons by Irene Campbell MP and led by the Plant-based Food Alliance.
